What types of guided hunts does Stonebridge offer?
Stonebridge offers fully guided hunts for Whitetail Deer; Fallow Deer; Red Deer Stags; Sika Deer; Russian Boar; Feral Hogs ( Meat Hogs); Bison; Elk; Rams Goats and Sheep, and even African Big Game.
Can I book more than one type of hunt?
Yes

 

What should I pack for my hunt?

  • In addition to your weapon of choice and ammunition, consider packing
    • camouflage clothing
      (While not mandatory, camouflage clothing will allow you to get closer to your trophy for the perfect shot.);
    • a raincoat;
    • binoculars;
    • a range finder;
    • and snacks.
  • For those of you staying at our hunting lodge,
    • bring personal toiletries (a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.) We provide linens and towels;
    • a cooler.
Do you provide weapons or ammunition?
No. Hunters are required to bring their own equipment.

 

Is there somewhere where I can zero in my scope or sites?

Yes, in an emergency. For example, you may have dropped your weapon in route to the hunting preserve. However, under normal circumstances, we expect that you have already sited-in your weapon and practiced with it before arriving at Stonebridge.

 

Can non-hunters stay at Stonebridge?

Stonebridge allows non-hunters to visit and observe the hunting activities or enjoy other recreational activities like fishing in our catch and release pond and enjoying or photographing the game from the deck of our lodge.

 

Do you have age restrictions?

No. But if you have questions regarding any hunter and their ability to participate safely in a particular guided hunt, please call us.

 

Are there hunting season restrictions at your preserve?

No, you can hunt year-round. However, there are times when it's best to hunt to obtain the best possible trophy.
  • Whitetail Deer - 9/1 to 10/31
  • Fallow Deer - 9/1 to 2/28
  • Sika Deer - 9/1 to 10/15
  • Elk - 9/1 to 12/1
  • Boar - 9/1 to 4/30
  • Bison - 9/1 to 3/31
  • Rams, Sheep, and Goats: Year-round
Do hunters require hunting licenses?
No.

 

What safety measures are in place at Stonebridge?

Our professional guides ensure safe hunting practices.

 

What accommodations does Stonebridge offer?

You can stay at our lodge at extra cost or that we include in some of our guided hunt packages.

 

How can I find out if my weapon is adequate for a particular type of hunt?

Give us a call, and we'll be happy to answer your questions.

 

What kind of weapons can I use at Stonebridge?

Generally speaking, you can use your rifle, pistol, muzzleloader, crossbow, or bow. However, you will need a minimum caliber or load to effectively bring down bigger game like trophy Russian boars and bison. It's best to call us to discuss how and what you're interested in hunting.

 

What if I have to reschedule my hunt?

We allow you to reschedule your hunt one time within one year of the original hunt date. However, please know that hunt prices are subject to change, and you will be responsible for price increases. If you do not reschedule your hunt within one year, your deposit will be forfeited.

 

How much meat do you get from wild game?

Although there are multiple factors that can affect the amount of meat, generally speaking, you will get approximately 40% of the gross weight of the animal.
